Petro Zillia's Alice in Wonderland (circa 1951) fashion fantasia was so nice, we're writing about it thrice... (And we're not the only ones who thought so: Nony Tochterman, the line's cotton candy pink-haired designer took the top honor, for fashion innovation, at the L.A. Fashion Awards on Friday night.) Below, it's Alice and the Queen of Hearts.
The clothes were colorful, whimsical, and ultimately, wearable. The hair, not so much.
The idea was, the curtains were being pulled back on the illusion of fashion. Unfortunately, if you didn't have the mardi gras beads which allowed access to the stage, it was hard to see all the details of the collection. The woman in black-and-white is Kelly Cutrone, head of fashion publicity firm People's Revolution. You don't wanna get in her way...
The Style Council's Lina Lecaro palled around with DJ Steve Aoki...and if this darn camera didn't blast everything out, you could have seen how her violet striped top was a perfect match for the Cheshire Cat in Disney's Alice, projected on the screen behind her.
Honorary Style Council member Janet (aka Ginger Goldmine) was getting curioser and curioser by the end of the night...
