I loved this when I first saw it, but never actually walked the paths. Now I have. It is great, visually, and as an interface for finding out that you can write while listening to Symphonic Metal (Nightwish: Pharoah Sails to Orion); that Oriental Metal is actually pretty good (Aliaj: Mah-e Kahgezi; all of Ahoora); and that Mathcore is not as good as it should be. And the bands have stupid names. (Dillinger Escape Plan?) OK, back to Neue Deutsche Haerte.

Conservation International just published the first results from its multi-year automatic wildlife photography projecty. For several years, 420 cameras have been capturing images of whatever walked in some of the world's most remote locations. 52,000 pictures have been collected. Here are some of the highlights.

Jeffrey John Shaw, known as Jay, was never a natural rancher.
